PROFESSIONAL NURSE (General with midwifery) Sessional Posts

Grade 12. Basic qualification accredited with the South African Nursing Council in terms of Government Notice 425, i.e., diploma/degree in Nursing as a Professional Nurse with midwifery or equivalent including operating theater experience not less than two years. A post basic qualification (Operating theatre, midwifery, ICU or Trauma and Emergency) with the duration of at least 1 year diploma in any of the specialties will be an added advantage. A minimum of 9 years appropriate/ recognizable experience in nursing after registration as a Professional Nurse with the South African Nursing Council in General Nursing. South African Nursing Council annual practicing certificate (2026). Verifiable proof of experience.

Strong leadership, good communication and sound interpersonal skills are important.
